Official beginning of the de-mining activity within De-mine HU-HR II project
The de-mining activity within the project De-contamination of war-affected territories (De-mine HU-HR II), with the ID: HUHR/1501/2.1./4001 has been officially launched on 26 September, in the area of the Petlovac municipality in Baranja, on the Croatian side of the border with Hungary.
Project De-contamination of war-affected territories (De-mine HU-HR II) is a follow up of the successful and the largest HUHR IPA CBC project De-mine HU-HR I, which is now implemented as the strategic project within the Interreg V-A Hungary-Croatia Co-operation Programme 2014-2020. It is the first project under the implementation in the new Programme, which started on 1 June 2016 and with the expected end date on 31 May 2018. The EU contribution contracted to De-mine HU-HR II project is 2 999 989,74 euro. The Lead Beneficiary is the same as in the De-mine HU-HR I project, Croatian Mine Action Centre (HCR/CROMAC) with further two beneficiaries from Hungarian side, Baranya County Police Headquarters and Duna-Drava National Park Directorate.
