First Call for Proposals – Number of Applications Submitted
The first open Call of the new, 2021-2027 programming period proved to be attractive for the applicants of the Hungarian-Croatian border region: by the submission deadline of 29 November 2024, at 12.00 CET a total of 129 applications were submitted by a long and diverse list of potential project partners.
The 129 Hungarian-Croatian partnerships applied for a total amount of slightly more than 72 million EUR, which is more than two and a half times the available amount of 26.324.825 Euros. Projects applying for support within Specific Objective 4.6 (Culture and sustainable tourism) face the fiercest competition, with a total of 45 applications going for the available funding, followed by SO-s 4.2 (Education, training and lifelong learning) and 2.4 (Climate change adaptation and disaster risk prevention), with 32 and 18 project proposals.
All submitted applications will now enter the formal- and eligibility assessment phase, about the outcome of which the contact persons at the LP organisations will be informed in due time. We thank you for applying, and hope for many great new projects in 2025!
