Contact Point Čakovec Opening Ceremony

The new JS Contact Point in Čakovec, in function since the begining of February, was officially opened today in a ceremony attended by the representatives of the Programme implementing bodies and the hosting County.

The second JS Contact Point in the Programme area has been functioning in Čakovec since the begining of February 2016, with the formal opening ceremony held today as an introduction to the Information Day for the First Call for Proposals that followed.

Participants were welcomed by Ms Viktória Tóth, representing the Managing Authority of the Programme, Ms Danijela Gjuras, on behalf of the Croatian National Authority and Mr Márton Szűcs as the Head of the Joint Secretariat.

The importance of the Programme for the region and of its increased presence since the Contact Point started functioning in Čakovec was pointed out by the representatives of Međimurska County: Mr Matija Posavec, County Prefect, Ms Sandra Polanec Marinović, Director of REDEA Development Agency and Mr Ivan Plačko, Head of Technology Innnovation Centre Međimurje.

JS Contact Point Čakovec office, with one colleague permanently employed, has been providing support to the beneficiaries from the region and is open to all interested in the Programme for questions and support, whether already familiar with the Programme or only applying for the first time within the currently open Call for Proposals.
