The use of drugs is practically as old as the mankind, and with the growth of the market it became more affordable. Border regions have always been especially exposed to the risk of increased drug use. Considering the border as a factor of risk we can state that current drug prevention activities are at a very low level in both countries. Misuse of drugs is not just problem for a particular country, region or area. It is imperative to initiate cross-border cooperation to develop a global approach. The development of cross-border relations, the recognition of common challenges, provides an opportunity for long-term co-operation, leading to joint initiatives and the development of the area. It cannot be emphasized enough that border areas pose a major risk to drug use. For this reason, there is a great need for closer cooperation between the institutions, authorities and civil organizations of the two countries. This already cumbersome relationship with the project will revitalize and the ongoing contact between the actors on both sides of the border will develop. There is a great need for information to be exchanged on both sides of the border, because it can be used to work effectively on drug prevention. Throughout the project, an integrated, complex cross-border drug prevention system is gaining by taking the experience and expertise. Its main activity is to help young people and professionals living on one side of the border to get to know the work of the other side and to incorporate these innovations into their own work by leveraging the benefits of contact. The aim of the project is to develop and implement a targeted long-term drug prevention that addresses and activates the most vulnerable group of young people. Furthermore to provide adequate information to direct and indirect target group about the
reasons for the emergence of drug addiction, its course, the available assistance, innovative and effective approaches of prevention, as well as the visual appearance, usage and dangers of certain drugs. The goal of the project is to improve the prevention of drug use in the region. A complex drug prevention will be based on existing good practices. The drug prevention program is designed to promote the development of young people in a multilevel
and indirect way. The project's approach and cross-border cooperation is based on a common drug policy. A project target groups the young teenager population and the teachers and helpers who work with pupils. The Project structure: Opening conference and press conference, Training a professional team, Self-knowledge camp and contemporary training, Young educators make workshops in their school, Interactive exhibition of Metamorphosis-
