HITRoute is a jointly developed new thematic route in the region based on the common historical and cultural heritage. The two starting points are the two rennovated heritage sites: the historic garden in Virovitica next to the Saint Rocco church and the Esterházy park in Szentlőrincz. The promotion of the newly establish route was one of the main focal points of the project and happenned through the organisation of thematic events, elaboration of promotional materials and educative workshops for the local tourism workers.
