Two schools were joined by the local nature-protection authority to gain new knowledge about the shared values in the border region. Through numerous joint activities, based on natural sciences, the teachers and the children discovered the natural life of the Drava, the river that connects us. A special focus was on the Sand Martin, a bird that is nesting here and is equally familiar to the Hunagrians and the Croatians, as it knows no borders.
During the workshops and joint camps and field trips a joint workbook has been divised, which will be used in the future similar activities focusing on the natural world.
