Sport does not recognize borders or national, geographical or even linguistic differences. Therefore, activities in this field are important means of connecting people living in the two sides of country borders. Thus, the main objective of the project was to connect people living either in Hungary or Croatia and to familiarize sport and love of sports with many people in different age groups in both countries.
In the frame of the project citizens could enjoy various colorful events provided by the partner cities with sport, cultural and gastronomic programs, while children can participate in training camps and apply for winning the challenge cup. In addition to sport events, car-free days were also organized in Koprivnica and Zalaegerszeg. In the four participating settlements the following sports were promoted: Heviz - handball, Zalaegerszeg - judo, Cazma - football, Koprivnica - basketball.
