Three scientific institutions came together in this cooperation project with the aim to create a regional network od institutions providing guidance to the public and private sectors regarding the use of renewable energy sources.
During the project research was conducted on the efficiency and potential in the region of various renewables, with several study trips to the different best practice examples in the region and beyond.
The results of the research were compiled in a joint book and presented to the local and regional stakeholders in several thematic workshops and conferences and can serve as guidelines for decision-makers in the planning of future investments in different energy sources as well as training materials for the students in the field.
