The project is run by organisations operating in the protected natural areas situated right next to the border between Hungary and Croatia. Based upon investments into the development of green tourism infrastructure, the project aims at supporting the sustainable development of natural heritage sites as well as introduction of green technology and environmentally friendly principles into tourism management.
The partners invested into several tourist sites in the area with the aim of introducing environmentally friendly and low-carbon services into the protected areas, while also developing new, nature friendly tourist attractions, including Land Art installations, using natural and recycled materials as well as virtual reality and other and hi-tech solutions.
